The bright side is doing a Form 1 is fairly easy, if you do it before January you just pay the $200 stamp and the turnaround times right now are fairly quick to getting approval. Just keep in mind that owning NFA items has more responsibilities, like not being able to cross state lines into certain states with it (without ATF approval), and keeping up with paperwork (make sure you make it part of your estate and such).

I have a trust I set up, my wife will inherit my stuff, etc.
