AR Rifle Kits :: Where to go for a decent build kit now?

Ill offer my services. Not a home builder not major "brand" but the warranty is what youre gonna want. Based in Dawsonville/ Dahlonega/ Cumming/ Stone Mtn. Its the parts thatre difficult to get these days but definitely achievable lemme know. Unfortunately promoting is against the rules. Lemme know if you need anything.

Just bought a delton kit from optics planet.

1 month delivery estimate

Just watch out with optics planet. It could be one month until they ship or it could be one month until they push it back again.

They are a larger retailer so manufacturers usually do supply them first, but they are well known for taking orders without really knowing when they will be in stock.

I've had several things ordered from them and some didn't ship for 6 months or more. They'll take your order but they don't have it in stock quite often if it's a hard to get item/s.

Decent is the key word. Hard to tell and I wish you luck.

1st choice is BCM. they had uppers in stock the other day. Specifically, the ELW BFH 14.5” Was in stock. You’re gonna be at a cool $800+ for an upper alone. Primary arms always has some type of LPK in stock. Upgrade later if you didn’t get the grip or trigger guard you wanted today. They have BCGs, too.

PSA seems to be doing an OK job keeping things in stock but they had hit or miss QC even before the pandemic. I imagine with them being wide open production right now it would be worse.

Don’t currently have any PSA parts in the stable but I’ve had them before. Keep in mind, PSA plays games with stock levels to create a sense of urgency to buy. Add something to your cart (or just watch it) and it will be “out of stock” within an hour. Check back in an hour and it will be back in stock. This will repeat all day and sometimes the price will change.

Pre-pandemic With PSA, I saw overtimed muzzle devices and junky feedramps that didn’t line up. I might have been ok with that when the complete uppers were $300. But now they’re $500, so I would Pass.

That being said, I’d rather have a PSA rifle than no rifle at all
