AR trigger--best bang for the buck? Any suggestions?

The ALG ACT trigger (Geissele sister company that I think the wife runs, but don't quote me on that).

You're right... From their "About Us" page:

ALG Defense is a woman owned company that was founded by Amy Lynn Geissele in 2012. As a sister company to Geissele Automatics, the same manufacturing and engineering teams are utilized to deliver the most cost effective and highest quality products available. ALG's experience is resourced from all over the industry; everything from the everyday target shooter to providing equipment to various branches of the special forces as a registered defense contractor. ALG Defense is focused on providing a superior customer service experience and product in one affordable package. All backed by an industry leading lifetime warranty.

The ALG ACT is probably the best bang for the buck if you're on a budget. I'm sure you can find "good deals" on higher end triggers but a good trigger for a budget conscience build I'd take a good look at the ACT. Thats what I'm running in my SBR.

I've got a JP adjustable in one ar that I built its excellant. The gun shoots 5shots in one hole at 100 meters. have couple of timney 3 pounds which work great. I've got couple of bill GEisselle triggers in two match rifles. They come with great instructions for installation you can also call them and they will help you with any installation problem. Also has fastest lock time of any trigger I've used. They work slick as glass. They also have lube an installation pin as well as extra springs in kit. The JP and Gisselle both have over travel screws.
