Are People Becoming Increasingly Hostile?

When money's involved, per the OP's examples, all bets are off. Someone gets greedy and/or desperate and it can get ugly quick. I've dealt with people who I am certain are crooks and borderline criminal in their business practices, but I am sure they and their families believe they are stand-up men constantly getting screwed over by all these people. It's some sort of psychological defense mechanism that a man convinces himself he's a good guy even while he rips people off. No conman ever goes home and tells his wife he got in a big fight over money with someone at work because he was trying to screw over the other guy. Anyway, a lot of folks are going to lose their marbles when they feel some added financial pressure and it's likely to get worse.

Not a good time to tailgate, cut people off or flip them the bird. Everyone has a short fuse these days.

I've noticed a severe uptick in very bad driving. Some lady apparently considered killing herself on the front of my truck. Fortunately accident was averted. Next day I saw 4 accidents major enough to completely disable vehicles to and from office (20 minute round trip). Something seems to be going on. Maybe people will calm down and it will pass.

Has anyone else noticed that more and more people are becoming hostile or showing aggression for little to no reason?

These past few weeks I’ve had both acquaintances and business associates I’ve had to cut ties with due to their behavior as of late. One outright threatening violence because I wouldn’t give him 100% of the cut on a business deal he had nothing to do with. I figured something like this would happen with the economic and political climates along with media putting everyone on edge for an extended period of time. However, I’ve never had this many problems with people consistently in my whole life.
Hard to tell if there is more violence or increased reporting of violence.......making it seem like there is more.

I have definitely noticed in my personal travels more aggressive driving more dangerous running of red lights passing at high speeds etc. It’s like everybody forgot how to drive while we were on lockdown

I definitely feel like people are on edge uncertainty and economic instability combined with fear of loss of health is the perfect storm

You are not the only one noticing this, my wife and I said that many people in Wal-Mart or any store have short or no patience with anyone. If you respond in a threatening manner they look at you like your crazy, and now they become the Victim. I see it getting worse in the future.
