"Today I bought 2 ammo cans, each with 200rds of 30.06 for 98.00 each. It boggles my mind that it's cheaper for me to shoot that than steel cased .223."
I do the same thing I have always done but just slightly more frequently. If I am in a Wal-Mart/Academy or gun store I pic up a couple of boxes of something in one of the calibers I own. 7.62, .223, .40, .357, 30-30, .22 etc. but I have never tried to wipe the shelf clean.
The 3 box limit went from a store to store basis to a company wide direction as of now. I think they have had A LOT of complaints about shelf sweepers just looking to resell.
no I refuse to get caught up in the high price hype. it was obsolete or impossible to find before when he won the first time and came down. so I'll wait if it never comes back I shoot on a have to bases.
