Lower end guns are tricky- sometimes negative reports are accurate..sometimes it's gun snobs/people who trash anything from another country

Agreed. For the price if they at least cycle ammo this is a steal! I was hoping someone who owns one would chime in.
You know those are California versions so probably have to open the receiver or something to drop the mag.

Looks like they are $170 now.
My buddy and I both bought the AK variant of this when it was on sale last year for a similar price. Mine has been fantastic, and will shoot just about anything you put in it (with the right gas adjustments). The gas ports on his were misaligned and it had issues cycling, but I believe he was able to fix it. Very fun guns in my opinion and well worth the $200 bucks after transfer that I paid.
