That says chrome moly, NOT chrome lined. two different things. I bet it is not chrome lined, could be melonited though - doesn't say.

I was just pointing out the barrel marings, I never said it was CL. I put in the original post it's chrome moly.

We looking at the same thing? It says 5.56 not .223 wylde.

Couple of other vendors have it too, all spec'd 5.56

It's 1/8 Wylde. Just called up Armalite. It's model number 15EA01.

223 Wylde is also 5.56. Accepts both. Unlike .223 only marked barrels. More listing here that say 1/8 Wylde.

Good point. I should have checked the date. It is a very tempting price if it's a decent AR.

So, I was at BullsEye in Lawrenceville today, and they actually had 6 of these in stock for $539 plus tax. They also had an M&P II, and Ruger AR556.

So, I've inspected the Armalite, and found :

-Fit and finish is good. Better fit than either MP or Ruger.
-F marked front sight.
-Stamped 1/8 Wylde CR MO .223 on top of barrel. Barrel is not a HB, but it's beefy. Definitely not LW or Govt profile.
-Full auto M16 BCG, properly staked
-M4 feeding ramp
-mil spec buffer tube

It's a lot of gun for the money. GTG

So, did anyone order one of these? I did and still nothing from them about shipping. It has been "your order is processing" for just over a week now (ordered last Wed morning).
