Asked to return pistol purchase

Those pistols are really hard to find and prices have gone up alot. Here's only one I could find for sale on gunbroker and buyitnow is $795 auction starts at $695.

If you really like that model I wouldn't settle for anything less than replacing it with another.

I see three options:
1. Bring it back and trade for something you want (price is immaterial, as this guy is screwed), maybe a new Daniel Defense AR
2. Call BATFE and report them - which is what this guy is desperately trying to avoid as he wants to keep his FFL
3. Ignore them and enjoy your gun

List it on gunbroker and send him the auction number.
