Really great pictures and very interesting stuff. I had my telescope in Crete in the early 80's and I lived off base in a 3 story house with a flat roof. I would set up at night on the roof and there would be zero light pollution. Got some great shots using my Yashica SLR 35MM camera mounted to my Meade Instrument 6 inch refactor with clock wind up drive. I never was able to get any of the pictures printed in Crete since the Greeks didn't have any quality development shops on the island. Shipped off to my next duty station in Texas and when my household goods arrived the crate with my telescope, film, camera, reference books and my Commodore 64 computer, disc drives and all my disk along with stereo gear did make it. I had a great time taking the pictures and enjoy looking at yours.
