ATF Chumming the water?

Received a PM from a brand new member a few minutes ago regarding something I have for sale. I think it had to be the ATF.

"Hey there, I'm interested. I just moved my son and I back from California, I was out there for a decade for work, didn't like it and I'm glad to be back where I can have freedom. You mention needing a GDL, I have my California DL, and I got my birth cert and such. I can also bring my expired military ID if I can find it, I do have some family who can come along with IDs of their own possibly, but it'd be a bit of a hassle. I don't yet have my residency as I just moved here in November, but if you're willing I definitely want the xxxxxx. I had an older yyyyyy when I lived in Texas but I had to sell it to move to commifornia, it was my favourite platform, so I'd love to try the xxxxxx."

I have had a few pm's like that in some of my older listings. One guy was an alabama resident and I told him that I would be glad to ship it to his ffl if he covered the cost and he insisted that it wasn't a big deal and would drive all the way to me to buy it. Red flag there. I finally just stopped replying to his messages. Had another one message me and wanted to have someone else come buy it but was clear it was for him and they were only picking it up. I stopped replying to him as well.

Wait until you say you're depressed online and they come out of the woodwork offering YOU guns with the coolest add-ons. I'm tempted to get depressed and just keep the stuff.
