ATF Trigger Rule Vacated

Let me be clear.

You're position is: "gun control is coming". This is stated as if there is nothing that can be done. It's a foregone conclusion. It's not. Quite the opposite. When people look at the world from a position of victimhood or helplessness, whoever or whatever they are fighting has already won. It's the ammo that will "disappear into basements and closets until found" 'because there is nothing anyone can do to prevent it' attitude that will make it happen. Beta-Cuck may have been harsh and mainly said in jest, but this mentality is entirely defeatist and honestly surprising on this platform and especially on this thread about the government overreach being taken back a notch.

May serve you better in the future to ask questions before assuming. It may surprise you find out who you cross paths with.

My experience is that people talk a good game and then, when the time comes, they are most conspicuous by their absence. I've stood on the front lines enough times to see that when the forces of evil come against us, there is no real effort to repel them. Unless you're willing to do more than talk, your guns n ammo will get lost in the attic, basement, back yard, storage locker, etc. I'm just letting you know that the little lie about losing your firearm in a boating accident only puts off the inevitable. There won't be many that will act when that call comes. So you shouldn't talk the talk unless you're willing to walk the walk. The last time I tried to do anything politically, it was to write proposed legislation to abolish the BATFE. A constituent in Marjorie Taylor Greene's district submitted it to her, she had it drawn up as a bill and do you know how much interest it got, despite my best efforts?

I'm around when you want to know what comes next. No matter who gets elected they want a Universal Background Check and that means National Gun Registration - it can't be enforced any other way. If the witch gets elected, ATF will be knocking on a lot of doors because all those decisions that are protecting you right now are on appeal. Those who talk don't do. Those who do don't talk. Have a plan.

Thanks for this response. I do, and I'm sure that many other people also, genuinely appreciate the work you've put in to walk the walk. Abolishing the BATFE would be a great accomplishment. But, that seems a bit of an outlandish idea. The federal government is never going to give up taxing and regulating alcohol, tobacco or explosives. None of those have rights guaranteed by The Constitution. Entangling those bureaucracies is done purposely.

I agree that Universal Backgrounds can only work if there is a National Gun Registry. The ATF Changed the 4473 to include all of the buyers info on the front page so they can have all the info they need when they scan them into the illegal database, which they already have. We are simpatico on this, I'm sure.

The real point is that this is an information war. And the battlefield is the minds of the people. When the minds have been broken down to acquiescence, it's over. There is a time when people need to stand and fight. But it's different now. People need to talk. People need to discuss what is really happening. People need to be educated about what their rights are and why they have them. People need to understand why this country is so great. We are constantly beaten down with how bad we are. It's exhausting. But that doesn't mean we just accept that it's going to happen. That's why the memes are so powerful. Public opinion is the most important part of this issue. We know how the media is going to portray it. We also know that the gun control advocates don't have the data on their side. The more people know, the more seeds are planted, the harder it becomes to push through bull**** laws using straw men, emotional blackmail and logical fallacies.

I hope that people like you who have put in the time and effort to make a difference have not given up.

From where I can see, it's not over yet.

It's called a negotiation. If you abolish the BATFE, alcohol and tobacco cases go to the DEA. Firearms and explosives violations would be investigated by the FBI. Gun regulations would have to be cut in half immediately. You have to ask for something. In negotiations, you have to ask for more than you will settle for. Should I assume that you have given up on pursuing what is in our best interests because you think we'd get nothing?

Every time the anti-gunners win a concession, they claim it's a start. The gun lobby thinks they accomplished something if the liberals only get a fraction of what they want. With every concession, they come closer to their goal; constitutionalists give up just a bit more. We come closer to socialism with every passing election cycle.

Once people realize that the elections are totally fraudulent things will change.
