Athens area - I need .22lr ammo *will pay out the nose for it*

My daughter had a last minute add to her Christmas list....she wants a .22lr rifle for squirrel hunting. I am picking up a Marlin 60 today at Academy in Athens but I doubt they have ammo for it. A rifle is worthless without ammo so...

If anyone in the Athens area has some to spare .22lr ammo that will function good in a Marlin 60 I will pay *gasp* the ammo gouger price if you can meet me around Gaines School Road or Atlanta Highway. I don't mind paying a little extra since this is so last minute... If I need to I can meet you in other locations in Athens or Commerce, or I-85 near Banks Crossing.

Academy usually sets some ammo aside for folks who are buying a rifle.

Thanks guys for the offers! I might buy some from ya'll if Academy doesn't have any I can get with the rifle.

And thanks for the info Kyzrsoze! Hopefully Academy will still have some for Christmas gun purchases, and hopefully they still have a Marlin 60 or a 10/22. Talk about last minute LOL.
