After his arrest, Young allegedly said to an agent with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, or ATF: “This is crazy. You work for ATF. How could you be against the Second Amendment?”

The informant later traveled to Atlanta to meet with Young, who allegedly “utilized the Internet to arrange the purchase of firearms from various people,” court papers state.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Bret Puscheck said the case shows the need for federal gun trafficking statutes, which are now being proposed in Congress but which, for years, were opposed by the gun lobby.
To charge Young, federal authorities cobbled together multiple criminal statutes, such as selling firearms without a federal license and traveling between states to deal in unlicensed firearms transfers.

Hey buddy... if you don't operate and believe that the alphabet police monitor this site, then you're living on another planet. :)

you know that I am but then again you also know me....but that doesn't mean I can't make an open ended comment to other members who may not have been out after dark.

^^ Yep, it goes without saying that anything going out over the internet these days is being read by more than the intended recipient(s). It never really is anonymous or temporary or secure. Ask Anthony Weiner and Menendez.
