I know that we gave Afghans who had been cooperating with US military forces against the Taliban a free pass to come to the USA, but in the C.F. that ensued, the sloppy halfassed way we withdrew from that country, plenty of bad guys could've boarded those evacuation planes too!!
So it looks like a Muslim jihadist came to America at our invitation and decided not to participate in the post-arrival vetting and documentation process.
