Hello fellow ODT'ers

Where do you go to shoot these high powered weapons I see posted on the board? My local ranges all seem to be indoor 75 ft max places.

I Know of creekside range, but you can only go out to >100 yds on Wednesdays, members only, on full moons.

Where can I go to push my rifle and skill?

check out south river gun club in convington. they have a 300 yd range. i am in the process of joining, just waiting for the new nra number to come in. i should have never let it lapse in the first place.they are a full nra club and have alot of activities and over 700 members.

There used to be a place near Temple. Went there years ago but not sure if if is still there or the name either.

There is a range call Advanced Bullets in temple. However the rifle range is only 100yds. They have a very nice sporting clays course though.

i have found a great place to shoot today. it has a 50 yd pistol and rifle range, 100 yd rifle range, shotgun range with skeet and an archery range. the best part is it only cost $19 per year to use. i was planning on joining the south river gun club at $650, but after firing over 500 rds at the elliot center today, i think i will buy more ammo with the savings. it is a very nice range with very helpful staff. it is located just off of I-20 in mansfield,ga. check out their website at http://www.georgiawildlife.com/ClybelRange . i think that just everyone could be happy with this place at the low price. i love it.
