I saw a JLR Investigates video in my YouTube feed but there was already so much other shooting and burning going on I forgot about that one. Plus from what you posted it looks like I made the correct assumption.

It was a teen shot another teen ended up killing him. Then later that evening another teen went back and shot up the house that they thought the person(s) who committed the previous act lived in.. hat my news feed says.. just saying

I don't know if the Augusta mall is as bad as the Macon mall but there was a shooting inside the Macon mall around ten years ago. That was the last straw for the former owners, Hull Properties. After that they handed the entire property (supposedly worth $10M ) to the City of Macon. I'm sure they wrote off at least that much. The mall is still open but it's a ghetto ghost town that stinks like skunk weed as soon as you get out of your car.
But I guess that's the universal story of most shopping malls these days. There's a YouTube channel called This is Dan Bell where they have a Dead Mall and Dead Hotel series. They walk through these places that are either close to done or long since abandoned. So I guess the point is it's a problem all over the country..
