Guys were doing that to hot rods long before there was such a thing as a Carolina Squat. Just goes to show there really nothing new under the sun.

When I was in high school, a lot of guys would get the coil springs from the front of an old car, jack up the back of their car and stuff them coil springs between the body and rear axle so the car was always goin' downhill….. better gas mileage that way….


There's nothing better than getting paid to look out the window....

So you think that’s what’s going on here?
Quite possible, other options are wrong spindles for year, spring savers, additional poly bushings and incorrect tightening of everything on a lift instead of under weight. Would have to see it first. To properly diagnose. Here is a pic of my 65 with proper stance . I’m running 70 spindles and discs ATTACH=full]6186232[/ATTACH]

That stance puts more weight on the rear wheels for..........wait for it...........more traction........This concludes the lesson for today.......
