There's nothing better than getting paid to look out the window....

Don’t ever say there’s no Big Guy upstairs!

Over the years, while flying at high altitude on a moonless night over unpopulated areas and I turn down the cockpit lighting to almost nothing to enable my view of the nighttime sky with no reflection on the windows….. I try to wrap my mind around the concept of there being "no end" to what I see…. it is truly breathtaking and mind-boggling…..

A few pics from Foothills Parkway and Cades Cove. The last pic in this post is from from Rich Mountain Road (off Cades Cove Loop), looking west over the Foothills Parkway mountain, and somewhere in Maryville, TN.

We did not see any critters other than Turkeys in the main loop. We, then made a 2'nd pass on the main Cades Cove loop (partially). We tuned on to Rich Mountain Road on the 2'nd pass.

Saw 2 young bears not far apart on Rich Mountain Rd. They were behind too much foliage for a pic though by the time I parked and grabbed out the camera. Friggin' Bastages!

They were similar size, and within 150 to 200 yards apart on opposite sides of the road. Once we hit the populated section of Rich Mtn Rd where it heads into Townsend, TN, we both said at the same time, "those 2 bears might have been siblings" :)
