Years ago, we would drag our boat to Chatuge for a week or two in the summer and take the kids out every day skiing/tubing/swimming…. rent a covered slip and leave the boat in the water all week…. stayed many times at the resort-hotel & marina there in Hiawassee right on US76…. that, and Blue Ridge are my two favorite lakes in N Ga!

I live about a mile from Chatuge and my cabin is about the same from Lake Blue Ridge, the Toccoa river that feeds Blue Ridge is literally at the bottom of my mountain
