and the plant is Sedum? my granny called it 'frogbelly'. She would tear a leaf off pinch/bruise it except for the perimeter and blow on it and puff it up like a balloon. Didnt take much to entertain us as children. Also tied tread to a june bugs leg an let us 'walk/fly' the bug.

You are correct sir,it is Sedum ( specifically Autumn Joy Sedum)
