Back from NY hunting trip!

What a beautiful part of the country!
Farm land, & mountains!
Deep valleys, lots of huge creeks!
Tons of deer & bear!
Great kinfolk
Saw many deer passed of a few good bucks,
Had 11 at camp! What a blast!
I was the only outsider everyone else were blood ken!
Food was awesome! Deer, bear ,moose ,porcupine!

Nice !! I grew up in Western New York, and the deer are bigger there, compared to Georgia.
Lots of open fields as well as woods but for safety reasons the state banned the use of high-powered rifles for deer hunting in most parts of the state, so people were limited to slug shotguns. And back in my day they didn't have rifled-bore shotgun barrels. (ATF had long said that any gun other than a shotgun that has a barrel more than half an inch diameter is a cannon, a destructive device! Yet if you put rifling in the barrel to spin a slug, THEN A.T.F. said it's no longer a "shotgun"!)

After that new ruling from ATF that allows such firearms, that should have opened up a lot more hunting fields for deer hunting in WNY, with longer distance shots being ethical.
