backyard buck

[no clever name]

I have several deer that regularly come through my yard. Have a doe that's been here for 4 years, I can tell it's the same one by the scars on her side. This year she had twins that are growing real well, they hit my feeder twice a day.

Have a 4 pt and 6 pt buck that come through 3 or 4 times a week. Last year had a real nice 8 pt show up in December, hadn't seen anything like him until yesterday. Wish I could see one like this out at the club.

He'll be really nice in a couple of years if he doesn't get hit by a car or wander onto any of the hunting clubs around here.

Saw a very similar one walking through the backyard last night not 10 feet from my back porch! First comes the doe running through from my neighbor's yard around my house, then he comes strutting up taking his sweet time. Paused for a good bit to check things out, I made some noise but he seemed uninterested and mosied on out after a few seconds. Could have thrown a rock at him haha.
