I tried to teach my brother how to drive a stick WAY back in the day (I had a Mustang with a 4 speed) and I threw him out of my car when he lookd down and said "Wow, two break peddles"... He eventually did "learn" and bought a junked VW, but kept grinding the gears...

BS. I know for a fact, after driving for 32 years on these roads, that 13% of the population can't even drive a car with an automatic worth a damn...I'd bet the number that "can drive a stick" is much less.
