Baseball cards

I’m a collector. I have cards from the 19teens. And the 30s-present. Babe Ruth Ted Williams Willie mays ext ext

I have my grandads cards he got when he was a kid. Early 1930’s goudey cards mostly.

I collected, traded and put em’ on my bicycle forks to flap on the wheel spokes in the 60’s. My uncle Joe gave me a couple of shoe boxes full of cards from the early 50’s through about ‘57 or ‘58, those plus all mine from all throughout the 60’s would be worth a small fortune today but who even knows what happened to those cards. I got shipped off to a military school in ‘71 and when I got out two years later pretty much ALL my sh*t had been trashed by my mom. I freakin’ had Mickey Mantle’s rookie card in multiples and that was just Mickey. Mays, Maris, Koulfax, Nolan Ryan…I had multiples of all those guy’s rookie cards plus many more I can’t even remember who all. I would stay up past bedtime listening to the Yankees & Dodgers games under the covers with an AM transistor radio, that was before the Braves came to Atlanta.

I've been collection for about 30 years now. I keep my most prized stuff but I've passed on some of it to my kids when they wanted to start collecting. Cards from the 50s and up.
