Ok guys, I am asking for your honest opinion, no joking around please. This is a current thread I am running. Surprisingly to me it has generated very little interest, only maybe 5 offers so far and NO CASH offers only trades, and even then no trades I am remotely interested in.

Is my price to high?

I thought this would be a good fair price for one of these, I mean I see the normal sig P220's going for 750-800. I honestly figured the match version would bring more than those, but I priced it in line with the "normal" ones I saw for sell.....

I mean I really want to sell it,(I'm trying to raise funds for a new vehicle because mine is becoming very iffy) but I would be open to a trade for a nice 1911 like a Basic Colt GI model or something along those lines.....

Just be honest with me, why is this not generating interest.

Here is the add.

Simple post this time! Pictures speak for them selves....

Up FOR SELL is a very nice Sig Sauer P220 Match in the venerable and highly revered "man stopper" the mother of of handgun rounds, I'm talking about non other than the legendary .45ACP.

This pistol is in EXCELLENT condition with only visible wear on the barrel/Barrel hood from shooting.
Being the match model it has Fully adjustable rear sight (Windage and elevation) and a tritium front sight. This is one accurate sweet shooter.

It comes with all pictured PLUS a brand new set of Genuine Sig P220 grips (not pictured), I personally like the texture on the new grips better.
Sig P220
2 magazines
Original case

If you are so in need, I can take a picture of it with the new grips later today, but I will not be able to till around 1900 or so.

Starting price is 750obo I still want this to be a cash sale, no trades unless they are heavily weighed in my favor (Ie. I could re-sale it on here quickly and for more).

Some trade interest.
Quality Full Size 1911's prefer Colt, Nice AR preferably 20", Glock (19 or 27) + cash, New I-pad....Just no Shotguns, blackpowder, bows or nanything that eats..lol

Please do not hesitate to contact me with an offer, I will be polite and respond to all Pm's as usual.

Here she is.

Sigs do not move well here on ODT unless they are VERY cheap. I had an H&K USP Compact 45 listed for $600 and didn't get a bite. I don't think anything is selling unless it's a steal...

Still amazed though, it hasn't generated many trade offers. Best trade offer I received so far was for some Beretta Shotgun, Very nice automatic, worth more than this, but I just don't use shotguns really, never have.

What would be a steal on this? I'm willing to come down on it some just not a ton.

I thought about doing one of those adds where it drops 10 bucks every hour type thing I see on here sometimes.

Sigs are generally over priced for the pistol market. Don't get me wrong they are great pistols (i've owned 2 and lost money on every trade) but on a person to person sale the price is typically $250 to $300 less than retail for Sigs. This gun will sell if you list it for the gut wrenching price of $550. With CNC machines building guns nowadays, the fit, finish and operation on lesser priced models is equal and therefore the lesser priced guns sell quicker FTF and quality is still there for MOST guns. Also, the 45 ACP rounds are pretty high to plink with and folks want to shoot

Sadly, I doubt you can get more than $500 or so in a cash sale. It's a beautiful gun but Sigs are not popular here. I've listed a number of them and none of them really moved. Distance is another problem. I have something I'd possibly trade for it but we're a far piece from each other and gas is just to damned expensive for road trips...
