Many of us have quoted the old adage: Better to be tried by twelve than carried by six.
This article is a cautionary tale of being tried by twelve. I don't know the case, don't know the facts, and can't make any reasonable judgement of the circumstances. However, what isn't disputable is the very last line of this AJC article, which is a statement by one of the jurors in the case:
âThe guy just went off, âone juror said last year. âYou know anybody who carries around a gun with hollow-point bullets? ⦠I think rage just ate him up.â
