It's less 'thick" than most stouts but you can really taste the Irish Whiskey barrels for sure.....waiting till 1800hrs before popping my first in 4 months

Yeah, it definitely doesn't overpower the hops and citrus like Green Flash Green Bullet does. (10+%) It's a nicely balanced punch in the face.
I dont care about the label, just the glass.
Same thing with the flip top Grolsch bottles, $2 on ebay, and you can buy them in the store for $2 with beer in them.
I haven't had a beer in more than 6 years. At this point I'd rather have a warm Piels Lite than a BJ.

It's times like these I'm glad I drink bourbon.
I had a Pliny just before Christmas. It's a good beer, but there are so many locally available IPA's that aren't as expensive that are just as good. Same to be said with Heady Topper.
I'd love to try a Heady Topper.
I think Green Flash is making some IPA's that could challenge Pliny. SN Hoptimum is close too.
Where did you find the Pliny?
