I've done plenty of vodka and club soda with limes and lemons. But tonic is just nasty all by itself. Is it really drinkable with vodka?

Tonic water with lime is good. I can drink that all day long.

BTW, always remember...any American 'lite' beer is light in alcohol, not calories....

To ME tonic water is like chewing up a Tylenol. It's really bitter. I don't like sweet drinks at all. I drink black coffee and unsweet tea. But tonic water is just above and beyond. I had a friend that used to love Martinis and Gin and Tonic. My thing was okay gin is nasty, tonic water is nasty, vermouth is nasty. So how do those things combine to make something good? I guess it's kinda like how half a dozen toxic chemicals somehow combine to make meth.
