Belt/Disc Sander

I have one of the HF sitting nib, never got around to setting it up, but they get decent write ups.

Bought a Craftsman bench sander and wore that one out. $100+/-
Next I bought a Porter Cable bench sander from Lowes. $175+/-
Lost high speed on it after 3-4 yrs and bought another. I really like those.

I’ve got harbor freight ones as well. I use the smaller one with the 1” belt for knife sharpening. A few seconds on a 400 grit belt and a minute or so on the leather belt and you’ve got razor sharp knives in no time.

Not really, I bought it for a project I'll get to sooner or later, so would just have to buy another.

Best bet would be to get one with one of their discount coupons.

Amazon. With this set up I can literally take every knife in my kitchen and every pocket knife I own and have them all razor sharp in 10 minutes. It may not be as precise as something like the lansky system, but I can sharpen a dozen knives in the time it takes me to do one with the lansky.
