Beretta 21A Barrel Threading

A standard 21A shouldn't have enough meat on it to be able to thread for any appreciable length. The 21A Covert model (introduced in 2021) is already threaded. Buying that model or a replacement barrel may be your best choice.

Yeah I believe it will be easier to Google up a replacement barrel that's already threaded.

It can be done. Accurate Ordnance, sadly closed up shop, did mine. There are several companies that list the service online if you Google for it. I would avoid or at least call Tornado Technologies due the other thread on ODT about HK work backlogs.

Getting the threaded barrel is always an option as well since they are readily available looking at a cursory search of the Google.

All they do is turn down the barrel a little and slip an adapter over thats been milled out for it to fit over very simple and then weld that to the barrel but i had a difficult time getting someone to do it ( i didnt wanna ship)

All good info and most of what I’m aware of. That’s why i was hoping there was a local Smith that could do the work so I wouldn’t have to ship it out. Thank you all for the input

A decent machine shop experienced with barrel threading can drill out and tap the barrel for an insert that also has the threaded part for the can (and thread cover). I had this done on my Beretta Model 87 and you can hardly see where that part fits with the barrel.
