Beretta APX A1 Carry

Anyone have one? PSA has a killer deal on these with rebate so wanted to pick one up but wasn’t sure if they were good or hot gabage. Reviews are mixed with the early APX so hard to tell. But a name brand optics ready gun for sub $250 is hard to beat.

I’d put a bit more $$ on the counter for a Canik MC9 Mete…. you can usually pick them up for around $350 and quality is good…. plus it’s hard to beat the 4 lb trigger

When I was working a gun store we sent all most all brands back, some runs of S&W revolvers that the cylinders wouldn’t lock, lots of Kimbers, Beretta Shotguns, etc. stuff you wouldn’t expect. Along with all the usual suspects.

If all they can afford is a Taurus, it’s better than no gun. I don’t have for any use for their semi auto stuff. TCP was “ok” like you said “for the money” but all those small 380s have a horrendous triggers by design.

Now their revolvers I would not turn down. Other than that plastic piece of junk. LOL

Saw that. I already ordered from PSA so we shall see. I’ll be in about the same as that after the rebate so I don’t feel too bad about it.

For onefiddy, it might be an ok truck gun…. for me, the trigger was just intolerable

That ain't even an opinion. At best, the Taurus G2c is a "good option at it's price point". Outside of that price point, it's a cheap POS.

I manage a gun shop. We sell A LOT of handguns. I can't count how many Taurus handguns I've had to tell customers to send back to Taurus for warranty repair or replacement. Haven't had to advise that for a single Beretta so far.
