I am just not into bolt guns presently. When the time comes I will buy a Bergara. I like to build and change, upgrade. Something that can be altered. Once you hang a scope on a bolt gun your done with it.

I have both and would say tikka. The only reason I have a bergara is because tikka doesn’t make a heavy barrel 300wm so I got the Bergara LRP for that. I don’t dislike my Bergara in any way, but my tikka is easily my favorite. The only downside to tikka is the high dollar proprietary mags

I’m going to respectfully disagree. Bolt guns are becoming as modular as ARs. Check this out.

Get the Bergara B14R 22LR for 225 yards - lots of fun.

I have Tikka T3x Varmint and multiple Bergara B14 HMRs. A Bergara HMR in 308 or 6.5CM would be perfect for that application and the T3X Varmint in 223 or 6.5CM would be great too
