At the little gun shop In regular they sell Bulk Armory 1911's for just about 700 and they are feel like clock work when you handle them. Bersa better bring their game to compete with some the 1911's out there.

I know right? Not a fan of ambi safeties or front slide serrations, so probably no for me.
Plus don't think I'd drop a grand on a gun with Bersa on it.
One redneck hick town's as good as another.Video says Cartersville on the frame and the OP's pic says Kennesaw...hmm.
All that stuff is a matter of choice. I wouldn't own one with out the front serrations because but give the front some character instead of Just a flat slab. The safety can be changed out. I have to admit they do look like a decent gun but a picture ain't worth the darn. I'd have to inspect one closely before I can make a informed decision. You can buy a lot of Solid 1911's for that money. Bersa may put some people off but the Bersa Thunder is a well built handgun. My father carried one for years starting in the mid 90's. His was a 380 I believe. Not a fan of ambi safeties or front slide serrations, so probably no for me.
