Best 1911 Mags

Looking for opinions on best 1911 mags and best place to buy.

Wilson Combat 1911 mags are often touted as the best. I've also had good results with Ed Brown 1911 mags.

For what bullet profile.

Wilson mags have wadcutter lips and do well on many type bullets but not as well on others.

Same for semi-wadcutter lips (Colt mags now have these)

Then there are hardball lips, the original GI feed lip geometry. This design work better than the other 2 on GI hardball rounds, but not well with hollowpoints or wadcutter bullets.

I like the real USGI mags as I never shoot anything other than hardball and have had Wilsons choke on them.

Another vote for Wilson Combat 47D and I also think Chip McCormick Power Mags are top of the line.
