Out of stock and the proprietary magazine is a huge con!! I already made that mistake w/ a C93 and it's $75 mags...

Pros - They both go bang.

Cons - The WASR is still overpriced at $500 (it's a $400 gun). The N-Pap barrel is not chrome-lined (little more of a pain if you shoot corrosive), and the furniture is proprietary so you are limited with options if you decide you want to change it.

If neither of the cons bother you, then flip a coin.

That is about to the point that I am at, but the proprietary furniture could be a deal breaker. I don't plan on changing anything, but I am always tinkering w/ things.

If the conversion was done right, I would take the Saiga over both the WASR and the Pap.
