Also, stop "tuning" your AR's due to ejection pattern. That's some dumb ****. Does it eject 100% of the time? If it does, then you're good.

You shoot ammo from a different company, and your ejection pattern will be different.

Shoot different ammo from the same company, and your ejection pattern will be different.

You change out your ejector/ejector spring/extractor/extractor spring, and your ejection pattern will be different.

I've seen AR's eject differently when fired from the left shoulder vs the right shoulder.

The ejection pattern as a "gauge" works OK in the military, where all the guns and ammo are the same. For anyone else, it's next to worthless.

I think the gemtech carrier main function is to limit gas in the face when shooting suppressed not to tune the rifle. I've been changing my nitride bcg' s out with father of freedom/ microbest bcg' s when psa has them in stock and on sale.

Yes. And yet, better served with utilizing the recoil and gas systems themselves. Buffer and spring. Gas port

Depending on the ammo, caliber, gas system and the suppressor you can have a plethora of issues.
( YA! Been wanting to use an obscure word..Opps! I did it again)

The issue is usually going super sonic - sub sonic, not so much as 5.56super sonic suppressed and non suppressed on a tuned gun.

The gun (5.56) should have a working range set up to use a certain suppressor.
Gas, springs and buffers used to fine tune it if needed.
* Not even getting into barrel length and gas port size.

Now while I have a Bootleg BCG that helps I really love the Riflespeed adjustable gas system.
It's not for everyone though.

Now days you can buy hi flow low back pressure cans...or run a larger bore suppressor with the appropriate end cap which solves a lot of issues.
These are not as effective sound wise as a properly set up rig but can work.

I love .300 BLK but in some cases it is a pain.
I have had semi auto guns that run on both super and subs but you have to have the suppressor attached or the subs will not cycle properly.

The other side is the gun is set up for subs but is overpressure with supers.
This makes firing supers a harsher experience and you can have issues with the action cycling too fast leading feeding issues.

In some cases a buffer weight change is all that is needed.
If that doesn't fix it I use the Bootleg bcg.

I did say I really like the Riflespeed system.
I wish all my guns had it.

I have a Sionics reduced gas blow back ported barrel - a sionics NP3 plated BCG and a SN-ACH charging handle with a piece of #15 o-ring glued to the notch
