Best Bourbon that doesn't break the bank?

It's the best I've found recently. Loads of flavor.
A friend of mine turned me on to it a couple of years ago, it's become my go to bourbon now. I still like trying others, but will always have a bottle of this or Knob Creek single barrel reserve in the cabinet. Can't really go wrong with it.

For something really interesting try Corsair Triple Smoke. It tastes like a bourbon/scotch hybrid. Vanilla and a touch of peat smoke. It's pretty fantastic.

Speyside? Highlands? Islays? How do you define "smooth"?
I'm a cheap easy date. I like Speyburn 10 year old single malt and Glenlivet. Hell I like Chivas and JW Black Label if it's blended Scotch. But more recently I've really enjoyed Bushmills and Jameson's on the Irish side.

Honestly I've only had one single malt I didn't like. A few months back me and a friend were at a restaurant facing the St Simons pier with an upstairs bar and he decided we should try Laphroaig which I had always heard was different to say the least. Holy ****! It was like a glass full of smoke I can't quite describe how NOT smooth it was. Not due to the alcohol content but just the flavor. Can you liquify charcoal? Cause that would be close to Laphroaig.

Will have to try the 1792. Flavor is most important to me. Just not into a $60 or so bottle at this point just trying different brands. So far, Jefferson's and Woodfords have my vote but Bulliet is good for the price.
I really didn't care for th 1792, it's better than super cheap stuff, but tasted like it was in a tin can.
I've been drinking Bulliet Rye and Bourbon, I also really like Knob Creek 120
