Looking for my first can . Want to put it on a 22 LR Rifle I have yet to buy ( input welcome ). Not a lot of money to spend . My new residence will have a perfect set up to shoot off of back deck .

What are your host?

I went with the Silencerco Sparrow because of its size, design and the fact that its stainless. Its pretty quiet but has some first round pop. There are so many different cans out now though that I'd have to do new research but I think decibels and materials should be top of the list in terms of criteria.

I ike the ARC-22 by Dobbs Defense for my fvsr.
And i especially like their aluminum model for my pistols....Its so light

Not even sure about my "host". I am new to "cans" as to why I am asking my fellow members. Quite, Value are my 2 top considerations...Wanting a bolt 22 Lr Rifle as a host

That fvsr in my pic above is a really accurate and quiet 'host'. I can get off a second or third shot when squirrel hunting without spooking the others. No problem out to 50 yards at all....probably farther but i haven't tried it beyond 50

I have an AAC Element 2 paired with a Ruger American Rifle and a Browning Buckmark. It's quieter than my RWS pellet rifle. It has no first round pop on the pistol. I'm very happy with it. It's super light too and easy to clean as long as you don't wait thousands of rounds between cleanings.

There was a thread started not too long ago about 22 host.

For a bolt action I highly recommend the FV-SR:
