Best credit card for buyer protection, services

That's the key, credit cards are a very nice convenience...assuming an individual can control their impulse buying. I pay mine off completely each month, stresses me out to think of carrying a balance with those type of interest rates.
Correct, same here. When you use one for business expenses it’d be very easy to lose any profit made if you carry a balance and get hit with that interest. It’s nothing for me to charge upwards of 10-15g a month. And a CC interest charge tops P&O ..

Some CC companies will allow you to dispute a transaction on-line, others make you call them and fill out a paper dispute.

I have had Discover since 1986 and found it easy to dispute a problem (plus cash back and no fee).

Another vote for Amex. They’re bailed me out from a couple fraudulent charges. One purchase I willingly made via ebay 15 years ago. Seller ended up being a full fledged thief wanted by local authorities. Amex said no big deal and refunded me the $350. My Amex has also never been hacked in the almost 25 years Ive had it. I lost count how many times my Visa has been hacked.

Chase. The few times I've had issues with charges chase handled it no questions asked. Didn't even have to talk with anyone, handled everything through their app. The chase app is the best CC app I've ever used.
I didn't use the APP but contesting charges is super easy on their website as well. They helped me with a ton of travel charges during Covid.
