Best DIY epoxy to cover tile floor?

That tile looks pretty good and its done paid for THAT SAID if you are hungry for change and have a healthy budget. Ive used Spartan Diamond and RealWorld (the Australian one) as well as several other epoxy resin coatings to cover tile in kitchens (4 high traffic TV studio kitchens) bathroom and a few poolrooms. It will be really hard to get that out door area dry enough to apply epoxy. Its really about the tile being DRY stuck and in good shape (if there is water on in or under the tile epoxy will fail to adhere) prep and correct application. Epoxy (blanket generic term Epoxy coatings are systems acid or etcher - primer - coating - topcoat - etc) is more expensive in terms of prep and materials than tile but if the tile is good and dry AND demo is impossible or cost prohibitive epoxy can be a great option and has an infinite finish range however it is very rarely as durable as tile)

P pokus is spot on about prep.

Acid wash isn’t enough.

Shot blasting or grinding is the standard in commercial resinous flooring.

You’ll also need to consider a polyaspartic top coat for up stability locking in your decorative flake or color quartz.
