American Grafitti

The Wild Bunch

Really? Overlooked?

American Grafitti only lost out to The Sting for the academy awards that year. (Robert Redford and Paul Newman in the same movie, can't miss hit in that era.)

The Wild Bunch is a classic that anyone over 35 or 40 will watch if it is on.

Close, but it's actually a remake of "A Fist Full of Dollars" (great movie), which is a remake of the Japanese film "Yojimbo", which is an absolutely terrific movie. If you haven't seen "Yojimbo", you really should. Yeah, it's subtitled and in black and white, but you won't care once you've watched it. Also, the old movie "The Magnificent Seven" is a remake of the Japanese movie "The Seven Samurai (Shichinin no Samurai)". Another great movie.

Yep, you are right. I should never post once I've taken a sleeping aid.
The memory just goes straight in the toilet!

Still enjoyed the Bruce Willis version. Same thing without horses. :)
