Best place to sell jewelry

I was into to metal detecting heavy for a few years and ended up with some decent rings and other stuff. Scrap prices are crap, is there anywhere else that's decent to sell to? My best find was a platinum Tiffany ring. I'm sure there has to be place that pays more than melt.

Consignment in a heavily traffic area store. Lynx resale is a company I have bought from that advertises buying re-saleable stuff.

And, on the secondary market, about melt is all I have ever been able to get.
