Best places to eat in Gulf Shores?

Doc’s was nice and casual crowd with decent portions.

Everyone is welcome kind of place so t-shirt and shorts or slacks and sports coat are just fine, parking can be a little tough.

I’d go back twice!

2nd wolfbay Also cobalt’s
I was disappointed in wolf bay only because I had eaten at the original place so many times before it burned. Best seafood ever..2 hour wait was common. Bowl of gumbo was a seafood platter in a bowl. They operated out of Zeke's for a while before they built couple new restaurants. The one in Perdido has closed. I like Lunas. Simple menu not too pricey. Fish River Grille gets a mention also. Use to always hit up Sea and Suds but, parking can be a challenge. Lot more folks now days. Traffic is getting bad

We are headed over to the originally oyster house tonight for dinner tonight. Gonna do ruby slipper or ducks for breakfast tomorrow. The sunliner diner was a complete let down this morning.

We are only 15 minutes down the beach, I’ll be outside 10:30 to see if I see them!
Make that 15 minute drive….its totally worth it. You get walk down to the runway and there’s a guy who walks you through the show over a loudspeaker. Seeing them is one thing……feeling them is where it’s at. At one point one makes a 700mph pass just a few hundred feet over your head. If you have any youngsters take foam earplugs.
It’s the thrill of a lifetime.

GTs has the best fried shrimp and a good salad bar. Nice view too. Jellyfish in Perdido has 1/2 price sushi ( wed. I think) Rest of menu is good too. Cobalts. It and GTs owned by same. Local in Foley is a little upscale but very good. Cool bar and they have pizza. Pirates Cove , good for a hamburger and Bushwacker. DeSoto,s and Doc's are pretty consistant
We had Jellyfish tonight. Man it was outstanding!! Thanks for this!

If you’re in/near Pensacola,
The Grand Marlin is one of my all time favorites.

Crabs on the beach is pretty good, and they have an original canon from the 1600’s found on the beach out in front of the restaurant.

The slippery mermaid has the best sushi, but that’s closer to Navarre.

Cafe Nola has some of everything but their bayou burger is a must try.

McGuires Irish pub is great if you like shepherds pie and beer flights.
