Best Pocket Pistol/Revolver

Least it goes bang every time unlike a KelTec. My vote is for the .380 Bodyguard, it fits in the pocket nicely and is pretty accurate and the biggest thing, no FTF or FTE.

I will have to say, I haven't had any malfunctions with the Bodyguard, but I don't have any experience with any other pocket pistols to compare it to. I didn't know the little .380's were known to have reliability issues. Never had a revolver FTF or FTE though ;) My vote still goes to a centennial j frame.

This is true ^^^^^
Revolvers are by far the most reliable pistols. Even more so than a Glock. Yes I did say that. And yes I do own one.

i miss my 638 yes i know it looks odd with shrouded hammer but it was accurate and had a wonderful single action trigger. that was my favorite revolver

I can see that, I do the same thing with a DB.380 and use an Uncle Mike's #3 I think, and keep keys and lighter in the same pocket sometimes. Never had a problem before..(knocking on wood) and move a LOT during work as well. If you are ever up this way at a range, let me know and maybe we can meet up. It is a SWEET shooter.

my colt 1908 vest pocket in .25acp

seriously, never jammed on me once and fit behind my wallet. if someone wants my wallet i give them .25

(might not be the stopping power your looking for, but its so small and light it is something i can carry with me EVERYWHERE!!!!!)

My pick is the Kel-Tec PF9. I like the size, the weight, the caliber, and the reliability I've had in mine. I'm also pleased with the 7 yard and closer accuracy. And at less than $300, it's a deal.

Edit:

Regarding the Mustang, it was actually my first pocket gun. It's an INCREDIBLY reliable and accurate piece, and I carried it for nearly ten years before I found a suitable replacement in the Kel-Tec PF9. I never liked the fact that I had a single action pistol in my pocket, but financially, I wasn't in a place to replace it. I always worried that if I had to use it I'd panic and forget to pull back the hammer, and even if I DID remember, it'd cost me a quarter second I couldn't afford. For pocket guns, I strongly support a double action.

I am fond of my S&W 638. Shrouded hammer will allow me to cock it if I feel it is warranted. once you get used to it being there in your pocket, you do not even notice it. I carry in summer in my shorts pocket as well as pants in the winter. If you look around, you can find a very reasonably priced one on here. I would look at any of the Airweight J frames for pocket carry.

Sig P238 - Small, Light, all metal, great construction, SAO cocked and locked with one ready to rock and six to follow.... in rapid succession... and extra mags are thin and easy to carry as well...
