I have a Henry .22 Lever Action Carbine and would like to put a scope on it. I would like the scope to be proportional to the carbine and not weigh very much. Any ideas?

Pics of your Henry Lever Actions with scopes and sling mounts would be a big help.

Not a 22 but a Henry 17 HMR with a BSA sweet 17 scope. Sorry for the blurry pics.

Looks good! I was thinking about something a little more stream-line like the older scopes.
Kindof like this.....................Know of any recent models?k108477_antique%20Belgian%20FN%20Sporter%20_243%20bolt%20action%20rifle-.jpg

I have a couple of compacts that I like. the least expensive is a 22 varmint scope made by bushnell. It has worked well for a decade on a 10/22. I also have a Leupold 2-7x 33 Vari x 1 that was on a 597 I bought. The 597 is long gone but I still have the Leupold and it is is awesome.

i have 3 levers with 3 diferent scopes but the one i like best bis a Simmons 3x9x40 on kwick view see though mounts like the feel can hold head up when shooting and can still use the irons for low light and i spent less than $80.00 on it all let me know what you end up with would like feedback going for Henry golden boy this weekend

A fixed 4 power Nikon. The only thing sweet about BSA is the price...the cost is incredibly high.

dont have a picture.. but I put an iclear compact 4x32 scope on my henry. it was a tack driver with irons... now its deadly accurate.
