i am looking for mid-range scope like a 4x32 or something along those lines for an ar15 my budget is no more than 150 prefer one that dosen't take batteries as i plan on mounting a mini red dot on top anyway would love to hear what you guys are using thanks!!!

No - NO - NO... Nikon P-223 scope. Available everywhere for $150 or less.

This scope has a Bullet Drop Compensating retical that is calibrated to the .223 round. You can line up the rings below the retical for longer shots and you do not have to adjust the scope for distance...

www.opticsplanet.com is a great place to get info or pricing.

Just bought the M-308 for a rem 700 tac. 4-16 nikoplex quick adjust turret allows you to use SMK 168gr set for yardage and you are on.
Fast free shipping took 2 days no sales tax and they were the best price I could find. They even took my pay pal, CC was also an option.
I am super happy with this web site.

For your AR take a look at Nikons web page find the style of M-223, AR scope you like they use a 4 digit model number. Go to the above web site and search Nikon _ _ _ _ (4 digit mod #)
Beat the hell out of all deals on e-bay and all the other low price search engines.
I am looking at:
M-223 mod#8492 4-16x 44mm obj Nikoplex Oasis price $389.75
m-223 mod#8488 3-12x 44mm obj Nikoplex Oasis price $361.84

My SR556 needs glass!!!

bushnell also has a nice looking line of scopes to compete w/the nikon P series, it is called AR series. but they linger at $200.

Love my P-223! It is very clear and crisp and the different aim points are both pretty cool and work!
