Which Aimpoint and what weird battery? I own several of the Micros and they use a CR2032 battery. Easy to find and they last for 50,000 hours in the Aimpoint Micro.

i was referring to the aimpoint pro m4
Take a look at the Micros. Recently I've been picking up used H1's as low as $400 and T1's for $450-$500. They won't bulk up your rifle and don't add weight that you'd got to hump around.
Vortex Viper PST 1x4. Has etched reticle. Power goes off still have dot.
