Those were real popular when I was building my Trans Am Ram AIR. The were some boys on LS1 Tech forum that put big cams in them and nitrous. Those would would flat out boogie with traction. One in good condition is a nice ride.Pontiac G8. I still want one.
. I’d lean more toward a Ford Explorer AWD,with the twin turbo option. It doesn’t take a lot to make one of these outrun 99% of “sports cars” on the road..esp. red light to red light
. Don’t underestimate a well prepped 4x4 Diesel pickup,or these new Ford F150 AWD pickups with the Coyote/10 speed combo. Looks like grandpas stock work truck…until they turn it loose
. I’ve seen more than one stock looking, and sounding, diesel run 10’s….but the “sleepr” part is over then
.You still have that GTO?
In lounge lizard mode......Merc….Grand Marquis , late 80’s/ early 90’s
I like thesemy buddy just bought a caprice 6.0 V8. Its a sleeper for sure. picture is one i googled

Yess sir. It’s still fun…You still have that GTO?
That is what I like. Remember the movie Gator. 1971 Ford 500 with a 428 cu.in. with a 4 speed manual. Insert any 4 door full frame sedan here. I like stock cars of yore. Big, roomy, powerful and built like a tankLove the WRX, but there ain't no mistaking that big hood scoop. Repairs are expensive too2005 de-badged ford lightning
2006 WRX STI suburaru (trunk wing removed)
My buddy had one back in the day that was slightly “not stock” and he pissed off many a car enthusiast with it…. Hot rods, exotics, etc… absolutely destroyed their morale with that little Galant!I had a Mitsubishi Galant VR4 that would smoke almost every muscle car of that Gen.
