Best Sleeper sedan

Those were real popular when I was building my Trans Am Ram AIR. The were some boys on LS1 Tech forum that put big cams in them and nitrous. Those would would flat out boogie with traction. One in good condition is a nice ride.
Some of these aren’t sleepers,at all..but cool nonetheless 
. I’d lean more toward a Ford Explorer AWD,with the twin turbo option. It doesn’t take a lot to make one of these outrun 99% of “sports cars” on the road..esp. red light to red light 
. Don’t underestimate a well prepped 4x4 Diesel pickup,or these new Ford F150 AWD pickups with the Coyote/10 speed combo. Looks like grandpas stock work truck…until they turn it loose . I’ve seen more than one stock looking,and sounding, diesel run 10’s….but the “sleepr” part is over then .

Any sedan that looks stock, but the drivetrain is all custom for performance. Remember the old moonshine cars......

My buddy had one back in the day that was slightly “not stock” and he pissed off many a car enthusiast with it…. Hot rods, exotics, etc… absolutely destroyed their morale with that little Galant!
