I’ve had 2 pair of Danners for years with no complaints.
Take the term “ waterproof “ with a grain of salt. If you plan on walking through creeks and standing water. Get rubber boots.
Irish Setter is a good option for comfort.
I find myself walking across creeks every hunt just about. I need some snake boots but keeping dry feet is important too. Never used anything but rubber boots.

I ended up with the danner vitals. They feel solid and are very comfortable so far. I haven’t taken them out in the woods yet ...that will be the true test.

My buddies who spend much more time in the woods than me swear by Russell Moccasins. Way outta my budget, I’m interested to try the Georgia Boot Athens Snake Boot, had very good experiences with the style in regular boot.
