Best way to meet other folks to shoot and train with?

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone has some recommendations on where/how to meet other guys my age to shoot and train with? Not looking for 100% serious all the time hardass stuff though, but something more serious than standing around on a flat range shooting paper targets at 25 yards.

I go to a DNR range to zero my rifles and test accuracy every now and then, but most folks there are doing their annual deer rifle zero, are not people that should be trusted around guns, or only shoot a couple times a year.

I've got a few friends I shoot with sometimes, but one is moving out of state, two are never really available anymore, and the last is just a bit of an ass 😂 I pretty much just shoot with my dad these days. Any recommendations would be appreciated, thanks.

maybe work on not presenting yourself like a terminally online weirdo

I’ve been trying to get people to come train with me for years. This spot lets me do whatever I want. I camp out here but I’m not training anymore. All my monies going to traveling funding.
I would try to attend classes and meet others.

100% Take a class from a reputable instructor. You are bound to meet folks local and farther out that enjoy the sport and take safety and training serious enough to enhance their skills yet enjoy then camaraderie as well.

And DNR/WMA ranges are scary as hell
